September Goals.

Hi everyone, welcome back to another blog post!

I can’t believe it’s September already, it’s going to be Christmas before we all know it (literally!)

This blog post is going to be my September goals.

1. Read more books

I love reading, I used to read all the time but I haven’t done a lot of it recently, apart from blogs. One of my goals this month is to read more books. If you have any suggestions on what books you enjoy, please leave them in the comments below so I can try them out as I’m always up for trying out and reading new books!

2. Buy more mustard coloured clothing

I didn’t really used to like mustard clothing, but recently is seems to be really popular at the minute and I have seen some lovely mustard clothing in Primark, New Look etc and I really love it, it’s really growing on me and seeing as though it’s nearly Autumn, I think it’s time to get the mustard clothing bought (especially jumpers!).

3. Hit 1000 followers on Twitter

Another one of my goals is to reach 1000 followers on Twitter. Twitter is one of my favourite social media platforms in general but also to interact with other bloggers.

If you would like to follow me on Twitter, my username is @leahdoesblogs.

4. Reach 500 followers on Instagram

Instagram is also another great social media platform to interact with other bloggers and is also great to share photographs with other bloggers which can inspire them. Social media and blogging really is a great way to inspire others.

If you would like to follow me on Instagram, my username is @leahdoesblogs.

5. Reach 100 followers on my blog

I’m new to blogging, I only started my blog a few days ago and it’s already going really well. I’m enjoying blogging so much, people have already made me feel so welcome. I’ve had lots of other bloggers that have welcomed me and gave me so much advice and tips. You’re all very lovely.

What are your September goals? Leave a comment and let me know!

Thank you so much for reading and I look forward to seeing you again on my next post!

  1. Good luck with your goals! I really need to read more books as well, it is something I love doing but never seem to find the time for it. I am a big fan of fantasy and if you haven’t read them already I would recommend ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ (the books Game of Thrones are based on). Possibly one of the best series I have read, I’ve just gotten my mum into them and although she isn’t a fan of fantasy she loves them! Also, need to inject some colour into my wardrobe, I live in shades of greys and blacks, mustard and burgundy would be perfect for Autumn!

  2. Love these goals!! I too am starting to look towards mustard clothing, a colour i never would have worn before!! Reading more is another thought that has been on mind lately. I used to have a lengthy work commute so I read a lot and I miss it. I might set myself little monthly goals, I like the idea of this 😊

  3. I’ve just got back into reading again and trying to do a book a month – I’m currently reading the cows by Dawn Porter. I bloody love mustard clothing too, have fun shopping! X

  4. Good luck with all your goals! I am a huge book lover & highly recommend the A Court Of Thorns & Roses by Sarah J Maas, it’s a series & it is AMAZING!!!!

  5. My first thought: “mustard-coloured clothing?”
My second thought: “hang on, I’ve got quite some mustard-coloured clothes and I look GOOD in them!”

I’ll adopt your goal as well if that’s OK 😉

  6. Good luck with your goals!!! I love a good mustard jumper and dress and if you find any mustard coloured clothing stores @ me on Twitter so we can raid them together!

  7. I loooooove the mustard clothing trend that’s going around at the minute! It’s definitely something different I want to add to my autumn wardrobe. Books wise I’m currently re-reading Divergent and I’ve been reminded so much of how great it is, so if you like dystopia I’d definitely reccomend. Good luck with your goals 🙂

  8. Good luck with your goals! 🙂 I’ve also been thinking about buying some mustard coloured clothing lately, which isn’t a colour I’d usually wear.

  9. Awesome goals Leah!
I hope you smashed them or at least got close!
I love books too but I read so much content online I don’t have much reading in me left over for books!
I started reading War and Peace a while ago but progress has been very slow! Haha
I love classics and would always recommend them to anyone.
